PONTO DE CULTURA - autonomy and cultural protaganism in Brazil was held on 16th June 2009. People's Palace Projects hosted a packed audience at the Embassy of Brazil in London to hear a talk by Célio Turino, Head of Programmes, Brazilian Ministry of Culture and the response by Mick Elliot, Director of Culture, DCMS. The audience discussion was followed by a reception to launch Intense Dreams: reflections on Brazilian Culture and Performance by Paul Heritage with photos by Ratâo Diniz.


On 13th January 2009 People's Palace Projects teamed up with the Royal Society of Arts and the Young Vic to present Chico Mendes Legacy: the role of the arts in environmental activism, chaired by Paul Heritage, as part of the RSA Talks. Listen again here >>
